Make a software tutorial screenshot easier to follow without covering the controls you are explaining.
What you get
12 original static marks: six numbered badges, an underline, a grouping bracket, attention rays, an arrow, a ring and a frame. Each comes as editable SVG artwork and a transparent PNG.
The included local HTML composer lets you import a screenshot, add marks, edit their position and size, export a finished PNG, and save a layout you can reopen. Three synthetic examples demonstrate a portrait tutorial, a crowded desktop and a three-step guide. Their source images, finished images and editable layouts are included.
Know before buying
- Placement uses numeric x/y/width/height fields in image pixels. There is no drag editing.
- Output combines your screenshot and marks into one static PNG. No animation, video editor integration or automatic tracking.
- Importing a different screenshot clears the marks. Layouts do not automatically follow controls.
- PNG colours and numbers are baked in; SVG numbers are vector paths. Editing the SVG files does not change the composer's embedded assets.
- The tool warns about image edges, not text overlap. This is not a redaction tool.
Tested workflow and limits
Automated desktop Chromium tests covered exports, saved-layout reopening, numeric placement, the three recipes and malformed-input recovery. An instructions-led extracted-package walkthrough exported a custom layout and reopened it in a new page with identical output pixels. This was an author-run automated test, not independent beginner testing. Other browsers and video editors are untested.
Images: PNG/JPEG/WebP, up to 25 MiB, 8000 pixels per side and 16 million total pixels. Up to 100 marks. Boundary-size and concurrent-import tests are not complete.
The supplied composer makes no network requests or uploads and uses no browser storage. Save before closing. Layout JSON embeds your FULL screenshot: redact sensitive information before importing and treat layout files as sensitive.
Try it first
The free sample includes three numbered badges, the local composer and one editable example. Free editor shapes may be enough for basic annotation; buy this for the bundled artwork, examples and local workflow, not a promised speed advantage.
Includes a first-use guide and licence. No installation or account is needed for the composer. Questions and purchase problems: use the contact route at https://earn2exist.com; the human operator handles refunds.
